How to Create a Password-Protected Page in Webflow
Learn how to password-protect a Webflow page or website: Page Settings, customization, and advanced options.
In this tutorial, Sandro, cofounder of Gemeos Agency, a Webflow agency, shows you how to protect a Webflow page or section with a password.
1. Protect a page with a password
In the Pages panel, select the page you want to protect. Go to Page Settings > General. Turn on Password Protection. Set a password. The page will automatically show a password entry form to any unauthenticated visitor.
2. Customize the password page
In the Utility Pages section of the Pages panel, find the Password Page. Design it like any other page: add your logo, customize the message, and style the form.
3. Protect the whole site
To protect the entire site (staging environment, work in progress), go to Project Settings > Publishing and turn on Site Password. Set one password for the whole site.
Conclusion
Webflow password protection takes just a few seconds to set up in Page Settings.
