How to Add Google Analytics to Webflow
Learn how to add Google Analytics 4 to your Webflow site: native integration, GTM, and verification.
In this tutorial, Sandro, cofounder of Gemeos Webflow agency, shows you how to add Google Analytics 4 to your Webflow website.
Method 1: Native Webflow integration
In Project Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics, paste your GA4 Measurement ID (format G-XXXXXXXXXX). Webflow automatically injects the gtag.js script into the head of every page. Publish the site to activate it.
Method 2: Via Google Tag Manager (recommended)
If you already use GTM, add GA4 as a Tag in GTM with an All Pages trigger. This is the recommended method because it centralizes all your tags and lets you set up events without touching your Webflow code. Check out our tutorial on adding GTM to Webflow.
Check the installation
In GA4, go to Admin > Data Streams > Your stream > Realtime. Browse your site: you should see hits in real time. You can also use the GA Debugger Chrome extension to verify it.
Conclusion
GA4 can be set up in 1 minute through Project Settings. For conversion tracking: track the source of your conversions with UTM parameters.
