How to Invite a Collaborator to a Webflow Project
Learn how to invite a collaborator or client to a Webflow project: roles, Editor access, and limitations.
In this tutorial, Sandro, cofounder of the Gemeos Webflow agency, shows you how to invite a collaborator or client to a Webflow project.
1. Invite from the project settings
In Project Settings > Collaborators, click Invite Collaborator. Enter the person's email and select their role. They'll receive an invitation email.
2. The Editor role for clients
The Editor role gives access only to the CMS Editor: add, edit, and delete CMS items, with no access to the Designer. It's the recommended role for clients who manage their own content. Editors can't change the design, static pages, or project settings.
