Unow: art direction, design and Webflow website for a training provider
Unow trains companies' teams in the skills that matter: artificial intelligence, sales, management and soft skills. Public and in-house courses, tailored programmes, e-learning and learning events: a catalogue of nearly ninety courses, designed for HR and learning & development departments.
Unow entrusted Gemeos, a web agency for training providers, with the art direction of its new website, its design, its Webflow development and its SEO.

Helping teams grow, and showing it from the home page
A learning & development department looking for an AI course for its managers, a pack for its sales team or a tailored programme for the whole company doesn't want to dig through a catalogue. Unow came with a new identity, a logo whose dots draw a face and the tagline “Unow, you grow”: it needed a site to match, as warm as the brand and structured enough to guide visitors to the right course.
Gemeos explored several hero directions, extended the identity into an art direction for the web, wrote and designed every page, then built the site on Webflow: a filterable catalogue, course pages, skill areas, offers, customer stories and resources, with a structure designed for SEO.

Look & Feel
An identity that smiles, adapted for the screen
The Unow logo is a face: two pairs of dots for the eyes, a pill for the mouth. The site carries this idea everywhere. Headings end with a full stop, labels are set in a dot matrix, and the face reappears at key moments, next to the tagline “Unow, you grow”, in rounded bubbles that fit together like the hero's blocks.
The palette starts from a plum (#320C1C) and a burgundy (#6E0331) set on a cream (#FFF2E0) and a beige (#F4E2CB). Four bright colours give each training area its marker: green (#A2D2C4) for sales, orange (#FE752F) for management, violet (#C79FFF) for soft skills, with burgundy remaining that of AI; red (#F33F28) flags the most popular courses. Headings are set in PP Frama, body text in Inter, labels in Ndot 57, and fluid gradients of violet, orange and green dress the large visuals.
Before settling the home page, five hero directions were designed around the same promise, “Give your teams the power to grow”: the photo and gradient change, as does the layout, to choose the brand's tone online.
Direction A - Glass
A green and violet glass gradient at top right, a warm photo at bottom left, the introduction text between the two. The blocks interlock in steps and the promise spans the full width. This is the direction that gave the site its hero.
Direction C - Warmth
The same structure, with an orange and violet gradient and a photo of a team in a workshop around laptops. Intended perception: collective and energetic, closer to a workshop than a classroom.
Direction E - The photo
No gradient: a large photo on the right, the promise and buttons on the left, and the key figures placed as labels on the image. Intended perception: direct and concrete, focused on the people being trained.

Web Design
Finding the right course by area, by format or by need
A training manager arrives with a skill to develop, a format in mind or a budget to justify. The site opens three doors: the four skill areas, the offers (public, in-house, tailored programmes, e-learning, events) and the full catalogue. The menu brings them together from the first page, and pages end with a conversation with an expert.
| Page | What it does for the visitor |
|---|---|
| Home | The promise “Give your teams the power to grow”, Unow's approach, the four areas, the offers, featured courses, testimonials and resources |
| Catalogue | All courses, with search and tabs by area, new courses and the most popular |
| Areas | Artificial intelligence, sales, management, soft skills: one page each, with its courses, customer stories and FAQ |
| Course pages | The objectives, the module-by-module outline, the available formats, the price and the downloadable programme |
| Offers | In-house and public courses and the multi-course pack, tailored programmes, e-learning projects, talks and learning events |
| Funding | Funding through OPCOs (France's skills operators) and the multi-course pack |
| Customer stories | Feedback from the companies trained: the context, the programme, the results and the client's own words |
| Resources | The blog, webinars, and white papers and guides |
Gemeos also wrote the copy for every page. The same building blocks recur from one screen to the next: area cards in their domain's colour, course cards, offer cards, “Why Unow” tabs, testimonials by company, FAQ accordions and a contact banner with the logo face. A new page can be assembled without going back to design, on desktop as on mobile.

Webflow Development
A catalogue the Unow team runs on its own
The site is built on Webflow. Courses, customer stories, articles, webinars, white papers and authors live in CMS collections, each served by a single template: the eighty-eight course pages share the same page, fed by their area, objectives, modules and FAQ. Adding a course or publishing a webinar takes no layout work.
The catalogue filters courses live: typo-tolerant search, tabs by area, new and most popular courses, and pagination. Tabs, testimonials and FAQs are accessible components, usable with the keyboard, and the course and offer carousels can be swiped on mobile.

SEO
A page for every course, every area and every question
An HR department searches for “formation IA en entreprise” (corporate AI training), “formation négociation commerciale” (sales negotiation training) or “financer une formation OPCO” (funding training through an OPCO) long before choosing a provider. The site answers these searches with a page per area, a page per course and resources that tackle real-world questions.
| Workstream | Detail |
|---|---|
| Landing pages | 4 area pages, 5 offer pages and a funding page, each targeting its own search intent |
| Course pages | 88 pages generated by the CMS, with their own title and meta description, breadcrumb and FAQ |
| Content | 10 signed blog articles, 11 customer stories, 8 webinars, a white paper and author pages |
| Tags & metadata | Title and meta description specific to each main page and each course page, a single H1 per page |
| Structured data | Organization across the site, Course and BreadcrumbList on course pages, Article on articles and customer stories, Event on webinars, ProfilePage on author pages, FAQPage on FAQs |
Readable by search engines and AI assistants alike
Each article is signed, with its author page, and its structured data gives the headline, image, dates and author. Area pages, offers and course pages answer buyers' questions in their FAQ, marked up as FAQPage: short, precise answers, which help search engines and AI assistants cite Unow on team training.
