How to Create a FAQ Rich Snippet with Schema.org in Webflow

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

• A Google Search Console account to verify the result

1. Create your JSON-LD block

The Schema.org FAQPage markup is implemented through a JSON-LD script. Copy the template below and adapt it with your real questions and answers.

2. Add the script in the Webflow page settings

In the Webflow Designer, open the target page settings (gear icon in the top-left corner). Scroll down to the "Custom Code" section. Paste your JSON-LD script into the "Before </body> tag" field. Save and publish.

3. Check the markup with the Rich Results Test

After publishing, go to Google’s Rich Results Test. Enter your page URL. Google will confirm whether the FAQPage markup is detected and valid. Fix any errors it flags before submitting the page in Search Console.

4. Submit the page in Google Search Console

In Search Console, use the "URL Inspection" tool. Enter your page URL and click "Request indexing." Google will recrawl the page, and the rich snippet will usually appear within 1 to 4 weeks.
