Building an Identity That Blends Poetry and Technology

The name Butterfl.ai brings together two worlds that seem, on the surface, completely at odds: the poetic image of the butterfly — lightness, transformation, beauty — and the .ai suffix, which instantly anchors the product in artificial intelligence. That duality shaped the entire branding strategy at Gemeos.

The core challenge was to create a brand that speaks to tech decision-makers and creative early adopters alike: modern without feeling cold, accessible without feeling generic. Gemeos built a complete brand system, including the logo, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines across every touchpoint.

The creative direction drew from the butterfly’s organic forms to build a fluid, dynamic visual world, set against a sharp, contemporary typographic identity. The result: a brand you recognize at first glance, and one that reflects the ambition of a startup ready to scale.

Designing an AI SaaS site comes with a clear playbook: a sharp value proposition above the fold, an early product demo, and as little friction as possible before signup. Gemeos applied those principles with precision across every Butterfl.ai page.

The mockup followed an information architecture built around the user journey — from discovery (a high-impact hero section) to conviction (features, social proof, use cases) and all the way to conversion (optimized CTAs, simplified onboarding). Every UI component was designed in Figma with a design token system that keeps the product agile and easy to evolve.

Mobile got special attention, with subtle micro-interactions and animations that reinforce the product’s premium feel without slowing performance. The result is a site that builds trust and makes people want to try the product from the very first visit.

Butterfl.ai’s Webflow build was crafted with a sharp focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability. The Gemeos team used Webflow’s advanced features to create a smooth experience without sacrificing the load times that matter for SEO and conversion.

Animations were built with native CSS and Webflow interactions, ensuring optimal fluidity across every device. The Webflow CMS was structured so the Butterfl.ai team could manage their content on their own: blog, product changelog, customer testimonials.
