Furry Travel was born from a personal story: expat founders in Dubai, faced with the reality of traveling with a sick pet. Their vision — to deliver a pet relocation service that feels as premium and reassuring as a high-end concierge — guided every design and development decision.

Gemeos handled the art direction, UX/UI design, and Webflow build for furry.ae, creating a visual identity strong enough to support a full brand family — Furry Travel, Furry Grooming, Furry World, and Furry Vet — while still making an immediate impact on its own.

Art Direction

The challenge was to create a premium visual identity for Dubai’s pet relocation market — a space where competitors swing between overly cute (cartoon visuals, saturated colors) and overly cold (soulless corporate logistics). Furry Travel needed to stand apart: premium but approachable, professional but warm, international but rooted in Gulf expat culture.

The art direction was built around one clear principle: adapt Gemeos Agency’s visual DNA to the animal world. Same standards. Same level of polish. Same attention to detail — but with a human warmth that reminds you every relocation mission involves a beloved animal and the family that trusts it to get there safely.

The palette and typography were chosen to strike the right balance between prestige and accessibility. The visuals put animals front and center — not as cargo, but as family members on the move. The visual references explicitly ruled out the DKC style, which felt childish and overloaded, in favor of an editorial aesthetic inspired by Dubai’s premium lifestyle scene.

The long-term vision — a family of Furry brands (Travel, Grooming, World, Vet) — shaped the identity from day one: a visual system cohesive enough to scale, strong enough to stand on its own.

UX / UI Design

The furry.ae website had to speak to a very specific audience: expats between 28 and 55, mostly women, living in Dubai or across the Gulf, for whom their pet is a top priority in every international mobility decision. These users want two things at once — reassurance that their animal will be safe, and clarity on exactly which options are available.

The UX architecture was built around the 5 transport modes on offer — cabin, cargo hold, private jet, car, and animal nanny — with a visual hierarchy that gives each option room to stand out without overwhelming the user. Each service has its own visual language and its own level of messaging.

The user journey focuses on two key moments: discovery — which service fits my situation? — and contact/booking — how do I get started? The CTAs were designed to feel reassuring, not aggressive. You don’t “book” a flight for your pet the same way you’d buy an airline ticket.

The HEART values — Hire Best, Excellence, Always Pets First, Respect, Thrive — were woven into the experience visually, carried through the tone, microcopy, and reassurance elements throughout the scroll.

Development & Integration

The furry.ae build combined a high-performance standard with the specific needs of an international premium service. The site was built to deliver a smooth experience for multilingual, multicultural users, with special attention on mobile load speed — the primary device for Dubai expats.

The contact and quote request forms were integrated with qualification logic: pet type, destination, preferred transport method, timeline. The data flows directly into Furry's sales CRM.

The content structure was built so the Furry team can easily manage updates — new destinations, new offers — without technical support, while keeping the visual and editorial consistency defined in the design.
