Paradox Obsidian is Paradox’s private circle — an exclusive experience for entrepreneurs who want to work on themselves as much as they work on their business. Gemeos handled the art direction, design, and Webflow build for the launch page.

Paradox Obsidian stands apart in the Paradox ecosystem: a premium mastermind reserved for entrepreneurs who want more than business performance. Five-day immersions, 12 Paradox OS protocols, a monthly live session with David and his mentors, and a private WhatsApp network. The challenge: create a page that communicates exclusivity and prestige before the prospect reads a single line of copy.

Gemeos handled the entire visual experience: product branding, art direction for the page, UX/UI design, and Webflow build — all anchored by a strong creative constraint around the lava/obsidian metaphor envisioned by David.

Branding

Paradox Obsidian doesn’t follow the visual codes of the rest of the Paradox ecosystem. It’s a premium, exclusive offer built for a very specific type of entrepreneur — and its visual identity makes that clear right away. The branding was built around a tight palette: deep black, polished stone reflections, and warm accents (amber, copper) that evoke lava frozen in time. Serious, sharp typography. No compromise. No trace of the approachable warmth found in the other Paradox products.

The goal wasn’t to create a Paradox sub-brand. It was to carve out its own space — recognizable within the ecosystem, but unmistakably distinct from it.

Art Direction

David’s brief was precise and poetic: the page had to visually reflect the journey Obsidian members go through. Lava is the entrepreneur in their raw state — pure energy, passion, untamed force. Obsidian is that same lava, hardened by pressure and time — turned into black stone, precise and sharp. Clarity after momentum. Control after chaos.

A visual progression as you scroll

Gemeos turned that narrative into a scrolling experience: the page starts in warm, bright tones (lava, deep red, burnt orange) and gradually darkens as you move down, until it shifts into the absolute black of obsidian. This isn’t a decorative effect — it’s the offer’s metaphor made visible. Hover effects on key elements reinforce the feeling of living material, without weighing down page performance.

A premium world, no compromises

The visual references are unapologetically high-end — luxury-inspired codes, premium photography treatment. Every design choice sharpens the sense of exclusivity before the prospect even reads the offer promise.

The Paradox Obsidian page is a long-form sales page built to convert a qualified, demanding entrepreneur profile. The structure follows a progressive desire logic: build aspiration first, then spell out the offer.

Webflow Build

The Paradox Obsidian page was built in paradox.io’s existing Webflow workspace, staying true to the system already in place. The main technical challenge: faithfully recreate the lava-to-obsidian visual progression from the art direction without hurting performance or Lighthouse scores.

Scroll Animations & Transitions

The color transition is handled with Webflow Interactions (IX2), using keyframes synced to scroll progress. The “living material” hover effects are implemented with custom CSS directly in Webflow, with no external library.

Integrated into the Paradox Ecosystem

The page plugs into the existing stack — UTM tracking, CloudFront CDN for video assets, visual overrides for third-party embeds — in line with paradox.io’s technical architecture.
