Digitizing the Professional Vehicle Ecosystem

UniversVO brings together clubs, villages, and partners in the used vehicle sector around flagship events like the Univers VO Village at the Solutrans trade show. A unifying player whose digital presence had to match its role in the industry.

Gemeos led the full redesign — art direction, UI design, Webflow build, and on-page SEO — to give UniversVO a professional site that showcases its events, partners, and community.

Art Direction

UniversVO speaks to automotive professionals — dealers, federations, manufacturers — who expect a site that feels both institutional and dynamic, reflecting the energy of the used vehicle market. The art direction was built around those industry codes, then charged with an event-driven edge.

A Professional, Event-Driven Aesthetic

The chosen visual direction blends the institutional rigor expected in B2B automotive with the visual energy of professional events: bold typography, dynamic trade show imagery, a restrained yet high-contrast palette, and spacious layouts.

Showcasing Partners and Community

Special care went into presenting partner logos — with animated hover effects — and testimonial sections, reinforcing UniversVO's credibility as a central player in France's used vehicle ecosystem.

Concept 1 — Dark & Community-Driven

A midnight blue background with extra-bold white typography and hand-drawn neon green graphic elements — spirals, underlines — that bring energy and authenticity. Key stats float around the logo in badge form, visually conveying the scale of the community. The events calendar, set in a white card, creates a clear, functional break. A bold, lively direction that perfectly captures the club-and-network spirit of Univers VO.

Concept 2 — Dark & Minimalist

Same dark universe, but the illustrated graphic elements shift to bright pink — softer and more distinctive. The hero composition feels airier, and the stats are better structured. The events calendar takes on a more editorial layout, with full-width trade show photos. The testimonial is easier to read, with more white space. A more balanced direction that keeps V4’s energy while improving clarity.

Concept 3 — Dark & Iconographic

The dark background comes alive with illustrated icons — a megaphone, car, camera, and rocket — floating around the title to create a cohesive, expressive visual world. The stats use those same icons as visual anchors. The events and testimonial structure stays the same as the first two concepts, but here it sits inside a richer, more illustrated environment. The most distinctive and memorable direction of the three.

UX/UI Design

UniversVO’s site had to serve three distinct visitor types with different needs: used-car professionals looking to join a club or village, exhibitors wanting to sign up for a trade show, and partners looking to learn more about the events. The UX/UI was designed to serve all three audiences at once.

Distinct user journeys

We structured the site around UniversVO’s three pillars — clubs, villages, and industry connectors — with separate journeys and tailored CTAs: “Request a Pass” for Village Univers VO, “Become an Exhibitor” for trade shows, and a centralized booking page for meetings.

Key event sections

The “Village Univers VO” page and the “Solutrans” page were designed as standalone event showcases, with logos, program details, testimonials, and integrated registration forms — all reflecting the strong identity of each event.

Media & podcast content

We added a dedicated podcast section with title, cover image, format, and Spotify/YouTube links, giving UniversVO a way to showcase its editorial content and strengthen its position as a used-car industry expert.

Webflow Integration

The Webflow build for the UniversVO site put autonomous content management front and center — event posts, partner updates, podcast additions — so the UniversVO team could keep the site alive without technical dependency.

Flexible Event CMS

We structured a Webflow CMS to handle the site’s different content types: events, partners, testimonials, podcasts, and trade show pages. Each collection was built so the team could update it easily, with no risk of visual regressions.

Interactions & Animations

Hover effects on partner logos, scroll animations, and the “linktree” section with its 3 blocks (clubs / villages / federators) were carefully integrated, bringing visual energy and smooth performance on both mobile and desktop.

Responsive & QA

An in-depth QA phase fixed responsive issues — especially on counters like “+1500 guests” — and made sure the experience stayed flawless across every screen size.

SEO Optimization

The used vehicle sector in France is a highly competitive market. The SEO optimization for the UniversVO site aimed to position the platform for strategic searches tied to professional automotive events and the used vehicle ecosystem.

Audit & Keyword Strategy

A full SEO audit came before launch, followed by targeted keyword research focused on France’s professional automotive world: used vehicle trade shows, professional car clubs, Village Univers VO, and industry events. The pages were optimized accordingly.

On-Page SEO

Every page on the site got a rigorous on-page pass: optimized title tags and meta descriptions, a consistent heading structure (H1/H2/H3), SEO-friendly URLs, image alt text, and structured markup for events.

Technical SEO

Technical SEO was built directly into the Webflow implementation: automatic XML sitemap, robots.txt, image compression, optimized load times, and a streamlined internal linking structure to maximize crawlability.
